Diares Of A Overworked, Overhyped Teen

Apr. 24th, 2008 01:30 am Summer is coming

Summer is almost here and I think I am going to enjoy it. I've lived in Florida for most of my life but only recently have I decided to take advantage of it. I am trying to get myself tan in the sun a few times a week, and have gone to numerous beaches in my area lately.

As a matter of fact, there is a beach right here in New Port Richey that I only went to for the first time today (even though I've lived here for almost two years). Very nice, with a playground, nature boardwalk and picnic areas. And it's only 10 minutes from my house!

My family seems to be having a fun week. My stepmom Mindy is in the hopsital because of some stomach thing which we are unsure of. She is a nurse and is in the hospital everyday, but when my Dad said, "Mindy is in the hopsital", for some reason I could tell he didn't mean for work.

My sister Sara got into another accident and now has to get a new car. It will be her third since Aug. Third time is a charm Sara!

For some reason the past week or so has involved people from my past returning. I spoke with Matt Pasco earlier this week and we are seeing eachother this weekend. I had lunch with my old boss Hollie today. I also have an ex who appears to be flirting and rekindling a spark which had gone out.

Speaking of people I use to date, Christia is going to be moving in after all. For how long, I don't know, but it will be an adventure.

Well the cohabitation thing didn’t pan out. Christia is able to make alternative arrangements. We are also no longer dating but it wasn’t a "SCREW YOU" type deal. Very peaceful and amicable and I’d love to think we could still be friends.

My apartment now has it’s sauna. The shower is leaking hot water and the landlord has already tried (unsucessfully) to fix it. Good thing water is included here or i’d be in for it! I now have to keep my bathroom door opened alot otherwise if it’s closed for too long it becomes a steam room when you walk in.

Got some work lined up and it looks like all these problems I have had since Aug will be over and done with by May. Although I have been saying that every month. I have three families who all want me, unfortunatley I know I won’t have room for one of them and I know who that one is which is a shame. (Two out of the three families can read this and the two who can are safe).

I am loving this warm weather. I have been getting nice and tan and going to the pool everyday (mostly at the insistence of the 6 year old who I care for ..noons).

Right now it’s anything goes for the weekend. I may or may not be working Sunday. Tim has invited me to go up with him and the boys for a day in Gainesville on Saturday. It’s his college reunion and some football event is going on.

Comment if you love me

Apr. 7th, 2008 01:27 am Big Week

Due to complicated reasons, all old entries are now private. So this is like a new start.

Well this week was definatley jammed packed.

Sandi’s friend Michelle was in town with her girls and I had dinner with them at the house Monday night. After the kids went to bed, we had some fun discussing relationship drama, taking weird pictures with toothbrushes and watching "Drowning Mona". Hadn’t had that many laughes in a while actually.

Wednesday I helped someone move. Hadn’t done that in a while and it was quite a workout. Just the two of us with some help from a neighbor for a bit and her son. Two stories. I ached and ached but it felt good. Cooled off in the pool afterwards before going off to Sandi’s. I got some work from her this week while she and Michelle went clubbing.

Then Thursday which was...just wow.

I went to the DR who told me I am good to go and no more pills (YAY!). I was all set to pay my landlord rent money, but he was sleeping. Did I leave the money in his mailbox or another safe place until he woke up? Nope. I kept it with me and took it on the road later that day. A choice I regretted when I realized I lost a 50 dollar bill! One that Sandi has given to me as an advance. I was REALLY REALLY pissed that I had done something so stupid especially since I barely had the rent money together.

So then the non-stop traveling began. I went to Orlando to pick up Briefly. Her family was on a college roadtrip and was stopping at UCF. I had never seen the campus before so I looked around. It was nice, and I ate at Wackadoos (which I thought was exclusive to FAU..go figure).
We drove back to New Port Richey but were on the road again to Gainesville that night. We went to a place to see our friend Callari. I can’t go into much more detail because of some people who read this, let’s just say....yeah, it was something. We went back to Ocala and hung out with Callari, the spouse and the pets for a bit.

By then I was killer tired (only getting some sleep the day before after moving the furniture), and drove back to New Port Richey (with a brief stop in Lake Panasoffkee to drop off Tim’s mail).

Briefly and I watched some Sabrina reruns, tried to sleep but couldn’t. We went to the mall to get her a shirt before going to Sarasota to see her friends Beca and Denise. I then went to Oldsmar (so much traveling) to watch Sandi and Michelle’s kids again. That morning I went to Austin’s flag football game. Trish tried to get me to take Austin to the picnic afterwards and possibly watch him that night, but I still had to pick Jessica up from Sarasota and drop her back with her family. I also had a babysitting job in Tarpon pending. I got a great tan though.

I picked up Jessica, we drove to Bartow to meet up with her family. My job in Tarpon fell through for the night and Trish said she didn’t need me either. So I drove to Ocala to see Jesse (who was in town) for a bit. We saw "21" which was awesome. Then I finally came back home after NONSTOP TRAVELING.

I collapsed and took it easy today. Then I got word from Christia this morning that she needs a place to stay and asked me. I said "yes" and wound up chilling with her and some others tonight.

So that was the interesting and BUSY BUSY week. Judging by stuff I have found up, the coming week’ll be something as well. Cohabitation should be interesting...

Dec. 31st, 2005 06:33 pm 2005

Okay so all my friends have done some really big entries about this year. I will do the exact opposite. If you want to know how my year was, check my old entries. Better yet, go to my greatestjournal if you want to start from January!

If you don't want to do that, than just read this...

"2005 in a nutshell"

Janary: Sick on the phone with Ashley Dier. New DJ at Don Carter's. Wait, that's me. South Florida fair rocks. Corebridge says scram but begs me to stay.

Febuary: Eric and me say "Applesauce, why not". So it begins. Interview with May Pang. Awesome moment. Corebridge has no idea what to do with me.

March: Working 6 days a week at 3 jobs and being a full time student takes it toll. Joshy (me) gets sick for a few weeks.

April: Shit hits the fan. I leave Corebridge and am treated like shit because of it. Family goes through personal crisis. I move out of dorms and in with Tim and the boys. All this and finals too.

May: Registration drama begins again. Tiffany pees in a roundabout.

June: I finally get to rest. Awesome month.

July: Tim and the boys take off to Tampa, ask me to come, but I say no. Help them move anyway. I stay at Helene's and try and find new job. Fights with Mumsy.

August: From Helene's to Dad's. Almost went to Miami. Live begins anew in Broward. Further fights with Mumsy affect me health. Bye bye Don Carter's, hello YMCA.

September: YMCA had horrible conditions so I went to work for Dominique's boss. That lasted one day.

October: Hurricane Wilma turns my area upside down.

November: Chilled in Miami, turned 20. Told Tim I would move back with him in December. Registered for school in NPR. Spent my birthday in 5 counties.

December: Bubble burts and I didn't move to NPR. Took finals. Wrote this entry.

If that doesn't satisfy you, read this....

Dec. 31st, 2005 06:13 pm My Friends

All my friends seem to be using their blogs for "2005 year in review" stuff. Well before I get to my own version of that, I suppose I will say how life has been lately.

Alot of familiar faces have been popping up again actually. Weird thing happened a few days ago, my sister told me (without the context of the circumstances), "Oh Dad has a picture of Daniel Baron for you". This statement, coming out of the blue, confused me to no end. Daniel and I went to middle school together and used to talk on the phone like a bunch of little girls. Anyway, he gave me one of those retarded trading cards that the school makes with your face on it one day. It's been in my closet for a while and while cleaning out my stuff, Mom passed it onto Sara who passed it onto Dad.

Really this story has no place in the LiveJournal but I thought it was worth mentioning because Daniel called me the very next day. We spoke for a bit. I think he was trying to find out if he can do anything for my (on hiatus till podcasting) radio show.

I also decided to call Ann and the Ianuzzi's. That was interesting because as soon as she found out that I hadn't moved to NPR, she invited me over to dinner. That brought back so many memories. It was a good dinner and we recallled people and events that I hadn't thought about in ages. Giovanni is growing up too. "Titanic" was on while I was over and I hadn't seen that in a long time. By the way, if you ever go to dinner at the Ianuzzi's, you will be full. They cook and they feed you like you wouldn't believe. Poor Ann is on leave again because of stuff at Target. I feel bad for her, Target has been treating her like this for years.

Perry also moved back down here. Perry is probably one of my oldest friends. We went to Country Hills Elementary together and have never lost contact since. I helped him move into his new apartment this weekend. His place is nice and big and more than I could ever hope for. It has a closet inside of the closet?!! Bet R. Kelly wished he had that. I chilled at his place and we saw "The Producers" which was funny. I loved it. It made me rush to find Adolf Hitler's middle name online and in the book store. I find no record of any middle name in any of my sources.

Maddy also called me out of the blue a few days ago which was fun. I also recently spoke to Eric and Ethan. Actually, mostly Ethan. We kept on losing Eric.

Things look like they are going okay for Jessica and Matt. Relations with her parents are improving and she and Matt both got jobs. Too bad they got kicked out of Amanda's but they don't seem too phased by it.

The people I am really worried about right now and Matt and Kat. I will not go into detail here because I am not sure how private the matter is, but I am really worried about both of them. Matt for what he is going through, and Kat because she has dedicated herself to trying to prevent it, only to no avail. This is a really hard time for both of them. I should give her a call later.

This entry was really more about my friends than me. The next one will be the whole "year in review thing".

Dec. 25th, 2005 04:27 pm Christmas and all that jazz...

Well I am back in South Florida now. I stayed in New Port Richey an extra few days. Everytime I was thinking "I'll go home tommorow", Tim and the boys invited me to stay an extra day. I was glad I had some time up there though. I did alot of Christmasy stuff. I helped Tim play Santa and we wrapped alot of gifts and did alot of Christmas shopping.

The boys gave me some nice stuff, homemade which made it extra cool. I gave Tim a "Stewie" magnent as a joke. He finally watched "Family Guy" out of curiousity and I haven't stopped teasing him since because of his old rants against it. He found himself to be a fan of Stewie.

Tim, the boys and I all went out to a park to play football. Joseph bought a pump for the ball and got it real hard. Big mistake. I caught the football when Tim tossed it to me and it was so hard that my hands are still smarting. Really hurts. I didn't get the worst of it though. Joseph pulled two "Marcia Brady's" right in the face. OUCH!

I would've stayed longer but it was Christmas Eve and Tim's family was coming in and I had to get back down to mine. Sadly, it is still looking like my original plans of going to NPR next year aren't looking good. The door was left slightly open though. I could only hope...

Making a drive across the state on Christmas Eve may sound like a stupid idea, but the traffic was clear. The driving was actually clearer than it is on most of the trips I make! I made in home alot earlier than I expected. I stopped by Coral Square Mall to tie up some loose ends and see Ashley. The mall was crowded and parking was crazy. I was glad to finally get back to Dad's house.

Saw "White Christmas" on TV. Still one of my favorite Christmas movies!

JT is home so we chilled and Sara was by. Eventually Jesse and Summer came and we all opened gifts. I had a pretty good haul this year. Alot of the stuff I asked for. I am wearing a new Beatles shirt that Dad and Mindy got me right now. It has that nice "new shirt smell". Sara got her iPod nano that she wanted. It sucks that she couldn't get her first choice though (Religious Education) but oh well. We went to Midnight Mass which is the only time of year I really go to church. It was alright.

Anyway, now it's Christmas and I got up a few hours ago (we always stay up late Christmas Eve) and watched some of my new DVD's. Now it is time to join the land of living. Happy Christmas!

Dec. 19th, 2005 11:10 am NPR

Well I have been having an awesome time in New Port Richey. On Friday I went to this meeting a local Opera Group was throwing and viewed "Daugther Of The Regiment". I had a good time and meet some new people and they invited me to come back each month. The boys and I saw the "King Kong" remake which was awesome. It was 3 hours long so I was aprehensive about it but it was good. The natives and dinosaurs scared Joseph so I had to cover his eyes a few times. I don't blame him though, because the creatures in this movie were very freaky. The boys are on a Kong fix now so we went to Hollywood Video and rented the original 1933 film and the "Energy Crisis" remake from the 70's.

Tim decided to take us all to Magic Kingdom on Saturday which was awesome. We almost didn't make it there due to a few issues. We had a great time though. We rode alot of rides and Tim was in the Christmas spirit. He bought this weird hat that makes it look like Christmas barfed on his head. The lights were up everywhere and it was pretty. Alot of laughes due to a "bike incident' and some guy with a wheelchair trying to impress some girls. I'll post the pictures when I develop them.

Dec. 15th, 2005 01:26 am My Last Night...

I wish! Eleven days ago I thought this was going to be my last night in South Florida before I moved to New Port Richey. Unfortunatley plans have changed and despite my hopes and wishes, the x-factors that have changed my plans are still in effect. I will be going on a roadtrip tommorow which will last until sometime around Christmas. I will be going to the West Coast (and hopefully salvage my plans), I will try and make it to Orlando to see some old friends and maybe even visit the Albrittons down in Port Saint Lucie.

Last day of school today. Got over 100$ from reselling my books. I was surprised because everyone else got less than 20.

Sara and Francisco broke up which sucks.

Can we please have some good news for once?

Dec. 12th, 2005 09:29 am Still Sucks

Because of my last minute changes of plans, things are still kind of sucking. If things had gone as planned, this would've been my last Monday living in South Florida and I would be very excited about my upcoming move. Now I am rushing and panicing to change my plans at the last minute. I am still going over to NPR at the end of this week. I will visit Tim and the boys and check some things in the area out. I am hoping I can still salvage my original plan but I doubt it. Did I mention how glad I am this is happening during the holidays and finals? That was sarcastic. The thing that really gets me is, I made the plan by myself and it was spectacular. It wasn't my fault it didn't work, it was outside circumstances. So I can't even blame this on myself.

On the plus side this is also the last Monday of this semester. This weekend I saw "Walk The Line" with Sara and Francisco. I loved the movie and it has inspired me to do some reading up on Cash and Carter (whom I know little about). Very interesting.

Tight budget because of the holidays but alot of my shopping is done with already. I typically have left alot of it to the last minute.

Things are a mess right now...

Dec. 9th, 2005 09:19 am Life sucking lately

I was pretty vague in my last entry so now I will elaborate. I got an e-mail on Sunday which contained information that changed alot of my plans. Now my plans to move to NPR are halted as well as my future plans for residence, money, employment and most of all school. I was ahead of the ball and had my classes. Now I have to start from scratch less than a month before school begins. AGAIN! I did this last semester! I DO THIS EVERY SEMESTER! IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DIFFERENT! Now I will be forced to wait until the last minute again! It's not fair, I had a schedule and good classes. To top it off, I was really looking foward to moving. All this information reached me 11 days before I was planning on moving.

So I am hoping for a miracle, but I am also trying to face reality. This sucks, especially during the holiday season. I'm telling you all now, if I was ever in need of a holiday miracle, it's this year. Otherwise I'm depressed.

Around fall, I came to the conclusion that 2005 has been a bad year for me in general and I grew to resent. As the year has been winding down, and I made alternative plans, I kinda felt better and thought I was maybe overeacting. Now I am back to my original mindset.
